Weathersfield, Vermont is a wonderful rural town comprised of the villages of Ascutney, Perkinsville, Downers, and Weathersfield Center. A terrific place to visit, and an even better place to live!
Weathersfield Community
Weathersfield is bordered on the east by the Connecticut River, on the north by Mt. Ascutney, and Springfield to the south. Interstate 91 runs through the eastern part of town, with Exit 8 providing easy access to the Upper Valley. Just across the river, Claremont has many shopping options, as done Springfield, which is just minutes away.
The town is filled with natural beauty and outdoor adventures. The Black River and North Springfield Reservoir recreation area, and Stoughton Pond provide great fishing, walking, biking, paddling, and swimming. Mt. Ascutney’s hiking trails include scenic vistas and the Cascade Falls. The rolling hills on the south side of town offer wonderful views of the mountain, and across the river into New Hampshire. Equestrians will love the many dirt roads and trails surrounding the reservoir.
